Composite Bonding
One of the most versatile and conservative cosmetic treatments available, repairing chips, reshaping teeth and closing gaps without drilling.
What Is Composite Bonding?
Composite bonding uses tooth-coloured resin material to repair, reshape and enhance your teeth. It's sculpted directly onto the tooth surface and hardened with a curing light, creating results that look and feel completely natural.
It's one of the most minimally invasive cosmetic treatments in dentistry. In most cases, little to no enamel removal is required, making it an excellent option for patients who want to improve their smile without committing to more permanent work like veneers or crowns.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does composite bonding last?
With good care, composite bonding typically lasts 5–7 years. Regular check-ups, good oral hygiene, and avoiding habits like biting nails or chewing pens will extend its lifespan.
Does composite bonding damage teeth?
No, composite bonding is one of the most conservative cosmetic treatments available. It bonds to your natural tooth with minimal preparation, preserving your enamel.
Will it match my other teeth?
Yes, we shade-match precisely to your surrounding teeth for a completely natural result. If you're also whitening, we recommend doing that first so the composite can be matched to your new shade.
Is it painful?
No, composite bonding is a comfortable, often painless procedure. Anaesthesia is rarely needed unless treating cavities at the same time.
What can composite bonding fix?
Chips, cracks, gaps, misshapen teeth, mild discolouration and uneven lengths can all be addressed. It can also be used to reshape teeth for a more symmetrical smile.
Can I eat normally afterwards?
Yes, though we recommend avoiding very hard or very staining foods for the first 48 hours after treatment. After that, normal eating and drinking is fine.
